I think my favorite lines are:

Black Widow: I don’t see how that’s a party.

Hulk: Puny god.

Did anyone else notice the continuity error on the Stark building sign? When the fighting first starts the “A” is the first thing knocked off. Later the A is back in place and every other letter is gone.

I loved the movie, it nailed pretty much everything. Including Hawkeye being mostly useless. I also like the balance and humanization of all the characters. All the Avengers are shown as remarkably human. All get a good amount of face time and having holes poked in their egos. I think Thor and Hulk came across a lot better than they did in previous movies.

Tom Hiddleston as Loki looks like the love child of Brent Spiner and Alan Rickman.

So what did you like?

What did you not like?

    “Including Hawkeye being mostly useless.”

What?  The man caused tons of trouble, including nearly took out the helicarrier, with two shots.

Yes, but once he’s back among the saints he manages to get their jet shot the first time it got near an enemy, and meh.

  • Best line? How about “I think I’ll have that drink now.”

Then there was the bonus scene at the very end where not a single person said a word.

    • Onyxhawke

I did like that line too and that last scene was brilliant.

  • Any time Tony Stark was on was brilliant. I swear, Robert Downey Jr. is an AMAZING actor! 🙂

My favorite line was actually from Captain America: “There’s only one God, and I’m pretty sure He doesn’t dress like that.” (about Loki.)

I’ve talked to so many people that went to see the movie… and didn’t stay to the end! I want to shake them. How can you NOT do that with a Marvel movie? There’s ALWAYS a teaser or something special at the end!!!

Joss Whedon did an amazing job. Very, very pleased.

I just don’t get that either, there’s been one in every single movie. Can’t wait for the next movie.

    • Because it wasn’t clear when we were watching…at one in the morning…that the scene with Thanos was not the end.

  • >Tom Hiddleston as Loki looks like the love child of Brent Spiner and Alan Rickman.

    So true! So true!

And so many good moments. I really loved Cap’s line about “There’s only one god and he doesn’t dress like that.”

I also loved Hulk punching Thor out of the frame. And the whole conversation between Cap and Stark.

The line I’ve quoted the most, for some reason, is the place where Stark asks how Fury can see the readouts. 😉
